Unfortunately for the Eid holidays I did not jet off to anywhere exotic or exciting but instead stayed in Doha.
So what is a girl to do with the lack of exciting activities to go to? I opted to empty out my wallet and went for a little shopping spree.
Below is a list of the goodies I got but keep in mind that this is a collective mini haul which means I did not get everything in just one trip to the mall 😉
1. Lancel Zip-Around Wallet (from the Brigitte Bardot collection)
What I like about this is that it’s a zip-around wallet which ensures that all the contents inside are secure. It’s made from suede material (if I’m not mistaken) which makes it really soft. This can store a lot since it has 8 card slots, a coin compartment and five bill slots.
2. L.K. Bennett Red Patent Wallet
This is an equally spacious wallet like the Lancel I bought but what I do not like about this is the interior is patent as well. So when I put my cards in the card slots, they stick to the patent material which makes it hard to take out when needed.
3. Christian Dior DiorSkin Star Foundation
So this is the new foundation released by Dior which I got in the shade 040 (honey beige). It has an SPF of 30 – PA ++ and claims to be a long wear foundation that brightens the skin. If you want a review on this item just let me know by leaving a comment below :). I got this from Sephora (Villaggio) for QAR 238/-
4. MAC Sheen Supreme Lipstick in Zen Rose
Got this MAC lipstick in the shade Zen Rose at the MAC store in Villaggio from their Moody Blooms collection. It retails for QAR 103/- and I believe they still have stock of this if you want to get yourself one. If you want a review on the item just leave a comment below and I will be glad to do one for you 😉
5. Giorgio Armani Rouge Ecstasy Lipstick
So I do not know exactly the name of the shade I got but it is number 503 from the Rouge Ecstasy line. This is from Sephora also and retails for QAR 191/- which is a bit pricey but for me it is totally worth it. If you want a review, you know the drill, leave a comment below.
Last but certainly not the least and my favorite purchase among the rest is this:
6. Gucci Boston Bag in Blue Monogram Canvas
So this is definitely a splurge! I have been keeping an eye out for this style and luckily when Allyson & I went to the Gucci store in Villaggio last Friday I was able to get this last piece. Thanks to Mohamed (the sweet Sales Associate that always assists me). I especially like the shoulder strap because at times it is hard to carry a top handle bag only.
