Since we loved our initial stay so much, we decided to go back to The St. Regis with some of our friends two months ago. One of them was just visiting for 2 weeks so we really wanted her to experience the hotel and it’s magnificent service.
This time around we did not have to wait for our room to be ready and we managed to check-in without any hassle. We first went to the Sarab Tea Lounge for iced coffee, to take pictures (as you would expect) and a little catching up before heading to our room.
Though we have seen their room before, we were still in awe upon entering the door. The warm sunshine and spectacular view welcomed us once again and a little surprise was waiting for Allyson. This surprise was the highlight of the stay. We were so shocked (in a good way) to see a customized picture of Allyson on a small round table at the end of the room with a sweet note and an assortment of miniature sized desserts from our personal butler, Francis.
With our friend’s go-pro cam in hand, we headed to the beach and pool for a little swim. It was truly great except for the really cold pool water and strong winds but these did not stop us from taking underwater shots / videos. Eventually we got hungry so we ordered club sandwiches with fries and watermelon shakes to fill our growling tummies.
Time flew by, the sun eventually set and the pool closed so we had no choice but to go back to our rooms. We did not even have any dinner this time since we were so full from the snacks. It was still early and we could not think of anything else to do in the room besides watching TV, we decided to party the night away instead.
We had a late night but still managed to wake up early and have buffet breakfast at Vine. They had a huge selection of various food items you can choose from, like pancakes, cereals, fresh fruits, salads, crepes, eggs, sausages and such. It was truly a feast and we ate until we were content.
Then the dreaded moment of checking out came and we had to say goodbye to the St. Regis again but you can be sure that this won’t be our last. We were also fortunate that our personal butler Francis offered us in-room check-out so it was not necessary for us to go down to the reception. That was a great bonus!
We have to mention the service! Truly a 5 (5 / 5) star service and the staff really lets you feel that the hotel is your home away from home. We especially liked the fact that there was a personalized welcome surprise in the room plus hassle free check-in and check-out.
We recommend you to try them out at least once in your life because you won’t regret it for sure.
