So it’s Flashback Friday and I thought that it would be a good idea to share with you some of my old school favorite hits that were popular during the 90’s.
I love a mix of everything but I normally gravitate toward hip-hop/pop music as you can see in the list below.
1. Boyz II Men – Motownphilly
I just loved how this made me dance and the catchy chorus.
2. Mariah Carey – Fantasy
She was at the top of her game that time.
3. Blackstreet – No Diggity
I didn’t really know what the song meant but I loved the beat.
4. Puff Daddy / Faith Evans – I’ll be Missing You
I just liked this song so much back then. It was constantly on repeat.
5. Lauryn Hill – Doo Wop (That Thing)
‘Cause you know some guys are only about “that thing”.
6. Janet Jackson – Escapade
It’s always a good time with her! 🙂
7. TLC – No Scrubs
The title says it all. Cause I’m looking like class and he’s looking like trash.
8. Michael Jackson – Black or White
His songs always have meaning about what’s going on in the world and this list just wouldn’t be complete without him.
9. Oasis – Wonderwall
It’s just a classic for me.
10. Sugar Ray – Every Morning
It’s a feel good song and the tune is cool too.
11. No Doubt – Don’t Speak
12. Hanson – Mmmbop
Hot brothers! That’s it!
13. Christina Aguilera – Genie in a bottle
Just cause I preferred her over Britney.
14. The Cardigans – Lovefool
I liked how the vocals were just so smooth plus it doesn’t hurt that the song was featured in the movie Romeo & Juliet where my favorite actor, Leonardo DiCaprio, starred in.
15. N’sync – Bye Bye Bye
My favorite boy band! Got hooked with them boy bands too.
Of course, there are more songs that were my favorites then but this list just won’t end, so this is just a few of them.
See you again next time for the second part of this post!
