Personal Style: Flowy Tops

Whew! It’s hot as hell here in Doha and everyone knows it’ll be hotter soon. How to stay cool in this weather? Our first tip is to wear lightweight and loose-fitting garments. One example is the breezy top. Easy to wear and suitable for any body type. With this, you can look feminine and sexy without showing too much skin plus love the fact that you can get a bit of air back there.

On Karen:

I don’t normally wear prints since my comfort zone is to stick to plain shirts or blouses but this time around I thought it would be best to mix things up a bit so I grabbed this crab printed top for my #OOTD plus I liked how this has a flared back which exposes a tiny bit of skin when sitting down. Though my top was already loud with its prints that didn’t hold me back from pairing it with a statement necklace. Sometimes it’s good to experiment and step out of your comfort zone, right? I believe there are no rules when it comes to fashion.

On Allyson:

I hate stressing about what to wear so I just had to wear the first thing I saw when I opened my cabinet. It was a sheer black and white flowy top that I’ve purchased recently from Zara. I like how the top can look formal and casual at the same time, it just depends on how you’ll style it. I matched it with a light-washed boyfriend jeans (which I really dig this past few months) and slipped into my strappy heels to give it a polished look. I just love this easy combination. To liven it up, I wore a long vintage-looking necklace.
