Seafood Night at Panorama

Panorama restaurant at The Torch Hotel recently launched their Seafood Night and we definitely didn’t miss out. In case you still haven’t checked out Panorama, read about it HERE to give you an idea of what to expect.

Going back to the main topic, the said restaurant has dedicated one night a week for the seafood lovers out there where diners can enjoy a variety of fresh seafood cooked in different ways and can get a chance to experience multiple coastal flavors.

The buffet offers a grand feast of cold appetizers, salads and different slices and loaves of bread. The cold starters station was centered with an ice sculpture surrounded by huge seafood portions of lobsters, shrimps, oysters, scallops and smoked salmon. My (Allyson) favorite part would be the enormous sushi platter.

While indulging in the cold appetizers, little did we know that we would be served with hot appetizers as well which comprised of calamari, fish balls and tempura. Honestly, just eating the starters made us full!

This plate is just for starters 😉

Because of the mixed flavors lingering in our mouth, we were given a lime sorbet to cleanse our palates so as to fully enjoy our main dishes.

We were provided with an ala carte menu prior to indulging in the buffet where we had the option to choose our entree. I got the Duo of King Prawns & Hammour while Karen picked the Lobster Thermidor. Highlights of the menu included Lobster Lasagna, Sea Bass Crispy Fillet and Traditional Seafood Paella to name a few. The names sound appetizing right? All came with a side dish of our liking.

We could not let the evening pass without having the sweets of course, as if we weren’t  full from what we had! The dessert table offered enough options for us to nibble on. For us, the creme brulee was number one.

It was indeed a marvelous evening. The food was great but sharing it with these awesome people made it extra special.

The spread blew our taste buds away. Panorama got it right once again in terms of giving their customers the satisfaction to their seafood cravings. In addition, who wouldn’t enjoy devouring these flavorful dishes with a breath taking view of the city?

We recommend for you to try Panorama’s Seafood Night which starts at 7pm until 11pm every Friday and the buffet costs QR280 per person which includes a main dish from the ala carte menu and drinks (sodas).

Happy eating everyone!
