As they say, it’s good to start your day with breakfast since it provides you with the energy that you’ll need and it curbs all those cravings you get throughout the day. In all honesty, I usually skip breakfast but this time around I decided to splurge a bit and grab a bite at the Seasons restaurant of the Moevenpick Hotel while I was on a short leave a few weeks ago. It was a buffet breakfast which cost QAR 75 per head (that is actually not bad at all considering the amount of food you can take).
I actually loved the outlet’s colorful furniture and large windows that allowed natural light from the sun to come in (a good source of vitamin D). The bright ambiance instantly lifted my sleepy mood.
As most hotels in Doha, Seasons served an international buffet with around 3 Indian dishes. They had a few stations for bread, juice, coffee & tea, cereal, an egg cooking station and a healthy corner.
In terms of food selection, there wasn’t a lot to choose from but I can’t complain because the buffet is really affordable. They had a few cold cuts, a salad bar, pancakes, assortment of cheeses, sausages, fried veal bacon, veal bacon quiche and hash browns.
Fruits plus yogurt and yogurt drinks were available as well.
Overall, I would give this outlet a (3.5 / 5) because although it is an affordable breakfast buffet, some of the food items lacked some flavor or some were overly cooked. Loved the service though because the waiters were quick in removing empty plates from the table.
