Aceite’s Menu Gets a Makeover

Improving ones’ self is never a crime yet a practice of adapting to the times and evolving to your true persona. Though change is hard to accept by most of us, it is truly inevitable. No matter how much we push back, if we do not embrace the way forward or adjust ourselves, the world would leave us behind because time waits for no one.

It’s basically the same when it comes to running a successful restaurant. With so many establishments emerging in the city (which is great for customers), outlets find themselves in a constant attempt to step up their game in order to cope up with the stiff competition.

Of course, Aceite is one outlet that definitely does not want to be lagging behind anyone else. Their plan of action, a menu makeover! We are fans of Aceite’s food so this was really exciting! Invited by Zomato, we were among the first people to test out the new items they have included to their delicious menu.

We were informed by Karl, their Marketing representative, that they have removed some items from their current menu to accommodate the new additions (noticeably more on seafood) that still retain a Spanish flair.

Mini Tuna Fish Turnovers

Grilled Mixed Vegetables

Chicken Breast filled with Foie Gras

Grilled Tuna Fillet

Our favorites from the Tapas selection were the Octopus Salad with Roasted Peppers & Grilled Fresh Cheese. The stand outs from the Main Course options in our opinion were the Fresh Tuna Tartare with Avocado & the Traditional Mediterranean Rice with seafood & sea bass. The flavors of the dishes were quite remarkable and outstanding that we can still remember how it tasted. The Santiago Almond Tart was exceptional as well especially when partnered with the sweet vanilla ice cream. We actually wanted extras.

As usual Aceite has done a great job and we are sure that if they continue to outdo themselves, they will remain one of the city’s Go-To places for Spanish cuisine.

Do check them out and if you feel like having brunch, they have one of the best every Friday (read post HERE).
